Penn State released its official depth chart this morning for Saturday’s game with Syracuse.
Missing from the chart, defensive end Maurice Evans and defensive tackle Abe Koroma. Official word could come later today from head coach Joe Paterno on the status of the two, but from the looks of it, they aren’t playing for a second straight week.
Tight end Andrew Quarless is listed as the third string tight end, corner A.J. Wallace is still Lydell Sargeant’s backup. Of course Quarless dressed last week, didn’t play.
So who knows.
Meanwhile the plot thickens, as the Daily Collegian, the PSU Student Newspaper reports that some prescription drugs were also taken from the apartment in the search last week.
Butler says Williams, Clark fine
Wide receiver Deon Butler just wrapped up his Tuesday media chat. He responded to a question about fellow receiver Derrick Williams and Daryll Clark’s health. Butler said the two did suffer some very minor injuries in the 45-14 win over Oregon State, but that both “are fine” and will practice this week and there is no reason to worry.
