Courtesy of College Injury Report, Indiana has six players done for the season and 11 more that are probable/questionable/doubtful.
See when you are Penn State you have the ability to fill the void when Sean Lee gets hurt, or you can give Aaron Maybin more reps when Jerome Hayes goes down. When you’re Indiana, apparently you go 3-7 and lose to Wisconsin by 35 after playing a nip/tuck first half.
Austin Thomas, Chris Daniels, Nick Polk and Dennis Zeigler are all out for the season with knee injuries, tight end Brian Zematis is done with an ankle injury. Another, Will Peterson will miss Saturday’s game with a knee injury.
Mike Reiter, Pete Saxon, Joe Kleinsmith, Jerimy Finch, Bryan Payton, James Brewer and Andrew McDonald are all questionable with various injuries. So is quarterback Kellen Lewis, who has split time with Ben Chappell. Even Chappell is listed on the injury report as probable.
Another defensive back Richard Council is listed as doubtful.
So all totaled, that’s five defensive backs, both quarterbacks, six offensive linemen a linebacker, a running back and a tight end.
