Multiple outlets in the State College area are reporting tonight that Penn State head coach Joe Paterno will be coaching from the press box tomorrow afternoon when PSU takes on Temple.
Fight On State magazine reported the news on its website this afternoon saying that players and assistants have been informed of the decision.
WMAJ radio in State College is also reporting the news.
Paterno had mentioned earlier this week that his knee and leg were bothering him after over doing it in practice. The Altoona Mirror reported earlier this week that Paterno missed practice on Monday and then road in a golf cart at the practice session on Tuesday.
Also, Penn State athletic communications has informed members of the media that Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany will be available tomorrow morning before kickoff between the Owls and PSU. Delany is currently in State College to speak at the Smeal College of Business at Main Campus.
