It’s expected that Penn State defensive end Maurice Evans will join teammate Aaron Maybin in leaving early for the NFL Draft, but there is no official confirmation as of yet.
Evans’ name isn’t on the list of early entries yet.
I tried contacting Evans and the NFL to no avail this afternoon. Penn State spokesman Guido D’Elia didn’t know. And contacts made to PSU SID Jeff Nelson have yet to be returned.
Evans has until the end of today to declare. Again, it’s expected he will, but nothing official as of yet.
